After concluding being unable to please everyone, then who do you choose to please. Who are the priorities? Would you try to even out what you can give people nicely or do you show signs of being biased? Even if you do, who gets the priority?

According to some, we should always do what is most pleasing to God. And in that process, we please those who would seem to be the people who deserve higher priority. After all, they are the ones who are pleased when you are pleasing God, so surely they must be wiser than the rest.

Minghui writes about change be constant, which is true. Possibly every social earthly thing changes as time goes. However, should be embrace change or fight to keep things the way we want it. In my case, when change occurs, it never balances out. Its not as if something changes and good points and bad points are brought forth. Its more of something good changes to something bad and back to the former. Is it too the same for you?

Besides, do people need a constant in their life? Must we have something to anchor ourselves so we feel comfortable? Jesus is a constant, for sure, however he works in ways incomprehensible, so there would still be a feeling of change wouldn't there. But ultimately, all I want to know, is whether to embrace change or fight to keep things as before.

Have you ever had the gut feeling that everyone hates you? Or at least almost everyone. Which then leads you to start thinking and reflecting on what could possibly have everyone hate you and after which, concluding that you're subconsciously annoying, although it wouldn't subconscious anymore as you'd probably watch what you're doing.

Soon after, you'd start thinking about what could possibly make you annoying and you'd probably come up with a few points, which would probably revolved around social attitude and response to peers and acquaintances. From about here, you'd pick out points about yourself that suck, for example, I picked out that I'm complacent and tend to do the wrong things at the wrong time.

After reflecting about it, chances are people would tell you oh, its alright. But then, these people are the people who love you for what you are, that happy, complacent, socially unaware person living in a bubble world. Thinking further, you'd realise that there are some people you absolutely loathe you for being what you are. So you'd think, should I change for them just as I did before, getting myself to what I am now. After a few hours you conclude:

I can't please everyone in this world.

So continues your wayward journey of finding qualities that can please the most people, after all, it seems you're living life for them which is what you should be doing, should you not?

You know, what's really respectable is people who can be indifferent to a matter of a sort and yet still care for the person that they have a scruff with. Being able to not let a situation bother you, yet being able to show care.

Got lost around Queenstown, Commonwealth and Queensway with Penn Goh today in order to purchase boots.

On the course of the journey i made two new friends. In the bus with Penn, he told me to look out the side. There was this little girl in a taxi waving to us, so we waved back. I proceeded to head bang and she copied. Rather adorable. The other was another little kid in the MRT waving at us. Small kids are cute.

Anyway got a pair of boots now. 6km run. Tired a bit.

Heh, these feelings are all to familiar to be uncanny. Smart thing to do would be to not indulge myself in them. Never works out fine now does it?

This little thinking space is nice. I write sentences and erase them, giving me the opportunity to think about what I'm saying thoroughly. Infact every paragraph consists of way much more.

If only you were on my side, but then how could I ever betray what you believe in right now? My decision was definitely the only possible way to go on. I don't have anything to gain do I? How extreme life can be, its almost humorous. A dark humoresque, to the favor of those who despise me? I cannot please everybody, especially myself.

Tomorrow's the end of prelims, a lot more time for myself to go through my various choices of path.

Just finished about 7 pages worth of notes. Feeling rather proud of myself, for no apparent reason. Prelims have been going rather well. Felt like I did well for Math and Biology already.

Been discovering 'new' songs. Songs that are old in chronology but new to me after playing for worship on sundays with Kat's team. Agnus Dei and Before the Throne of God Above. Really good. Horribly under-performing though. I must strive to do better.

Life's been what I make of it. Choosing to shelve any problems. I should stick to what I wanted to do. Perhaps I shall have a long reflective post tomorrow.

Its been a rather interesting week. Completed half my DnT project and did some form of revision. I'm halfway there. It seems rather disheartening and yet full of joy at the same time. I'll complete it. I'm sure. Convincing myself I'll do well.

On another aspect, I find everything rather nice. Paradoxy, but it'll do fine. I don't need more or less.

Potato dish making today was fun. My cell totally made up whatever we presented. OWN RECIPE FTW. Tomorrow is rental and baking and hopefully alot of work to be completed. Focus.

Justification.
A good reason why something exist or is done;
note at reason as an explanation of why something exists or why subject has done something.

So in order to justify oneself or one's actions, one must commit an action of some sort that may be deemed by another person as wrong, so as to have the person justify his actions or himself. Let that action be, consumption of alcohol below the legal age. One would justify himself that he is in control of what he is doing. Which is rather reasonable, especially if the individual can prove his words with his actions.

However, truth is the individual has already done wrong, has he not? He has already had disrespect for the authority. If one were to commit another illegal doing, something 'lesser', perhaps jaywalking, he were just as much be in the wrong by disrespecting authority too, wouldn't he?

James 2:For whoever keeps the whole law and yet stumbles at just one point is guilty of breaking all of it. For he who said, “Do not commit adultery,” also said, “Do not murder.”If you do not commit adultery but do commit murder, you have become a lawbreaker.

Yet, for every different action which titles you lawbreaker, there is always a different punishment. Perhaps there are two aspects to look at when sinning.

And still, the bottom line is we've all done wrong before and the different degrees of wrongdoing can only be countered with different degrees of punishment, although both render you wrongdoer.

Recently, the actions of some have been very misleading to me. I can't seem to tell where everything is headed or what I should do. But then again, life is such, and such is life. Maybe its because I am a fool for small things. I tend to trick myself into thinking there's much more to anything than there already is. But who but myself can I blame?

I need peace of mind and clarity of thought. Pastor Aaron did give me a sharp jolt yesterday in Chapel from his lesson. Does the past form the current subject or can he have absolutely no blemish from before?.

Had my school's annual cross country run today. I ran. Twas fun. Breakfast at Thomson's Prata place following that and swimming at Penn's house where there was making currents in wadding pools, jacuzzi shiokness and rugby tackles into the pool.

Saturday
Went swimming in Ming Hui in the morning. Supposedly morning. After which we were supposed to buy wheels but ended up nuaing in corp office. We left as the adult worship practice started and got wheels. I learnt that I don't really love going out alot. Depends I guess. Anyway Ming Hui headed off to go take pictures from the Helix Bridge and OF the Helix Bridge with his buddies which I somehow know from pictures. I headed back to corp and had dinner with Mark, Aaron, Mel, Rachel and Guan You at Thomson, Mengs. After which we headed to NTUC where Mark, Aaron, Guanyou and I played little games in the stores such as finding the most expensive Oil, Cheese, Coffee, Wine etc. Rather nice and fun day.

Sunday
Service as usual with worship meeting after. Reflected alot on my way of thinking of a current situation. Was supposed to see Guan You off, but instead I went to Laura's birthday party. Called Guan You before he left though. Had a great time at the party and before. Accents are fun. Need to brush up on my aussie one though.

Its been a long weekend. Lets start off from Friday.

Friday
Sports day in school. Glenn had told me that he and Christian were commentating for it and asked me to just come down and perhaps speak a little with my many accents. I did head down before the event and sat down with them, apparently my Scottish accent got Christian really high and he told me to stay, hence i commentated for the school sports day. Getting a deathstare from Belinda Charles is definitely not a fun thing, I'm sure Christian would know. Below are some pictures.

Big boss Ming Hui had nightclasses so he couldn't come for cell. Which will also be for the next three weeks. Anyway, Matt led cell, which at that time consisted of Darren and I. Rather small, no?

Saturday
Headed to school to rally for a Chem Olympiad, First round which was a 45 MCQ paper. The paper was rather tedious. Some part of me would rather not go through to the second round. Waiting for the paper before was ridiculously fun with Anand, Bryan and the rest. Everything else after was horribly unproductive.

Sunday
Well, the usual of every Sunday. Life gets rather repetitive after awhile.

English paper on Thursday, got to hand up my Journal tomorrow which means I will probably produce about 5 more pages today or 3 depending on how much I have left. Gah. Oh well, its been a fun ride.

Today I learnt a few things.

#1: Mrs Diana Koh is an awesome teacher. She bought the class reference books out of her own money. That really shows something. Also, she got some money from Jersey Numbers of the ruggers in class. And now with that money, she plans to give us a treat. Generous. Definitely admirable.

#2: Life is fragile, death is sudden. The one that passes definitely goes a better place which we must always remember. Surely there will be an initial shock, after that, we must accept what comes in. I need to live life ready for anything.

#3: There comes a time where I must put myself aside and put others first. Although one may put others first in the things he do and the motives of his thoughts, his pity he reserves for himself.

Had swimming today, training that is, helped to cover for my teacher who was away being a senior rocks much. We had water polo after training and i was playing keeper when one of my Juniors started coming up to talk to me. He started splashing water in my face and I just let him do it then he asked me "Why you don't get angry one?" in which i replied "I'm a patient man." Wonder how much of that is true. If only i could always be patient. Stay calm, don't overreact, think thoroughly, execute perfectly and look smart. Sounds British, which i am not.

Just got back from Zong's birthday party. Happy Birthday Zong! Usual at his place, Rockband, Laksa and Soccer. Found the Chelsea V.S. Manchester United match rather hilarious. Ridiculous referee. Anand is now my new Russian friend.

Last night's Good Friday Combined Youth Worship was pretty awesome. Very much different from the past services but as Kenneth and Guan You agreed, the objective of the service was different, hence its execution being so different too. Could do with one of the old re-affirming in faith services.

I'm starting to turn paranoid. Probably everyone dislikes me. No, can't be, thats ridiculous. Not everyone has met me yet.

Tomorrow is my school's annual "Millennium Race". Cars, motorised and non-motorised take part in a competition to complete a track of about 20m. This competition is for the lower secondary students, but I as a member of the Robotics Club have to help out. Honestly, I'd rather go for lessons. Arrgh.

Had my first swimming training of the year on Tuesday, rather refreshing honestly. Apparently I have gotten faster. Fairly encouraging. There was a lightning alert so we all got out of the pool and did push-ups. Was rather funny. A wet basketball court and guys in trunks doing push-ups.

Been sleeping late, its 12:45 now. Gosh, April the first. Os are closing in. Not bad, been revising and studying like today, met with Eshton and Glenn for dinner then revision for Physics. Its been good.

Nevermind, its the Lunar New Year. Visited my grandparents today. Aparently when visitng Gramps, i met this two families who were my dad's Nephews although they were around his age (Generation gap) So, today i learnt that i have about 6 more 2nd degree Nieces and 3 more 2nd degree Nephews whom i've never met. Rather intresting. And i have cousins around my dad's age. Awesome.

I should really update this sad excuse for a blog since i need to balance out studying and not (I'm pretty good with the not). Perhaps two posts a week? Someone needs to remind me. Okay, where should we start. Lets talk about school.

Its about the fifth week of school already (Time flies. Someone fed it redbull) Its really passing fast, not exaggerating. So much to do and so little time. Every class seems to end so quickly except for english. An hour of english feels like three. Regardless, this is probably one of the fastest paced lessons i've had so far in my life. Not really feeling stressed, well, abit, but it's the good form of stress. I guess i'm doing fine.

Social life on the other hand has not been treating me that well. Well not all of it. There's alot of good parts. Maybe i should go out with my Classmates this saturday (I will).

So much to do, so little time. I guess i'll end of here. I might update this about my US trip. Soon i guess. Until next time.

Once again, i'm reminded of why i dislike photos. Sure they're great. I treasure some infact, but really, its just a memory that probably isn't the way it is in life. That's why we turn to them, comforting photos or memories. The past is the past, why do we look back and regret. But then again, How can we not look back and regret.

Schools started, back to the usual somewhat hectic life of schooling as a secondary school student. Weeks been passing rather fast. Much faster than the year before. Got borderlands today at 50.90. Rather good price i must say. Thing is i got back and decided to get the lastest patch. Which seemed to mess up alot more than fix it. Can't be bothered to rant about the bigger things in life. Arrgh. Gearbox.
